The Benchmade Steep Country Hunter 15006 is a versatile outdoor knife suitable for hunting and for all kind of outdoor activities.
The blade is made from CPM S30V steel. This is a stainless type of powder steel. It is one of the few types of steel that was specifically designed to be used for knives. It retains its sharpness well and is easy to sharpen.
The handle is made from Santoprene-rubber. This type of rubber covers the end of the handle and offers you enough grip and is wear resistant. The spine of the handle contains a type of 'fins' that provide additional grip, without being too overly present. In addition, the spine has been enhanced with jimping in two places. These point you, as it were, towards different grip positions. The jimping towards the tip, for instance, is perfect for your index finger while gutting game. As a result you automatically place your thumb on the side of the handle, where you will also find a cut-out.
The Benchmade Steep Country Hunter comes with a sleek plastic sheath.
CPM-S30V Stainless Steel
A premium steel created especially for knives, it is a powder steel creating uniform carbide distribution and clean steel properties. Ιt gives perfect corrosion resistance and excellent edge qualities. This steel is very well balanced. It is one of the best choices for daily tasks.
